SCENES

"TV TYPE" Scenes for Two People

These are all original scenes, and yet, hopefully, they will all seem familiar.
After you watch enough TV, you begin to see the same set pieces on different shows: the spunky lead character who goes snooping where they shouldn't, the doctor devastated by losing a patient, the detective who decides it's time to get rough... These are samples of those kinds of scenes, written for non-existant shows, with characters who, in most cases, can be male or female, and of any ethnicity. Even where this is not the case, feel free to make the changes you need - these are tools, for class, practice, etc.
The background of each scene is also intentionally left undefined. In some cases, it will seem obvious (though two different actors may have different ideas of what it is.) In others, a wealth of possibilities is possible. As always, the scenes will change a great deal depending on what each actor (or the director, if you have one) decides.
